Dan received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University. Dan is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) awarded through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. He is certified in Dry Needling (Cert-DN). The Cert DN requires intensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and the body’s neurological and chemical responses to soft tissue manipulation.
Dan is certified in Spinal Manipulation (Cert SMT) which requires several post-doctoral courses focusing on spinal pathology, differential diagnosis, and the implementation of thrust manipulative techniques to each region of the spine.
Through further significant advanced training, he has also earned the prestigious Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT). The Fellowship in Manual Physical Therapy is considered the pinnacle of physical therapy education and ranks Fellows amongst the elite in the profession. Further, Dan has completed his Diploma in Osteopractic, awarded to therapist completing an additional intensive 12-18 month post-professional training program. The Diploma in Osteopractic is heavily based in the best current evidence for the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of complex neuromuscular disorders.
Dan has lectured internationally on advanced clinical reasoning, advancements in shoulder rehabilitation, and differential diagnosis for lower extremity disorders.
